In a move to compete with the Jio VoLTE in India, the Airtel VoLTE service launched in India, beginning from Mumbai. It is expected to be available in other metropolitan cities in the country very soon. It means that the Airtel customers will be able to benefit the HD Voice calls instead of the normal voice calls that we have been using all these days. Once this feature is available at your location, you should use a 4G VoLTE compatible handset to enjoy it.
But, as of now, only a few devices in the market are supporting the 4G VoLTE service. Almost all the mobiles that were launched in the past one year supports the 4G VoLTE service and most of them are Dual-SIM smartphones. To use the VoLTE service in your mobile, you must insert the VoLTE sim in the SIM Card slot 1 and the network should also be set to “4G/3G/2G (Auto)”.
