OPPO launched the company’s latest selfie focused smartphone, OPPO F5 in India. The mobile packs a 6-inch full HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display. The highlight of the smartphone is its 20-megapixel selfie camera that is powered by the AI beauty recognition technology.

OPPO F5 specifications
The smartphone sports a 6-inch FHD+ 2.5D curved glass display at a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels with 18:9 aspect ratio and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
It is powered by 2.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P23 16nm processor with 800MHz ARM Mali G71 MP2 GPU and runs on ColorOS 3.2 which is based on Android 7.1 (Nougat) out of the box.
The device comes in 4 GB RAM – 32 GB ROM and 6 GB RAM – 64 GB ROM variants. The storage memory can be expanded to 256 GB using the microSD card.
It has 16-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, LED Flash and 20-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1/2.8″ sensor.
Connectivity and Sensors
The device is equipped with fingerprint sensor on board besides supporting 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS and Dual SIM connectivity features.
Battery and Dimensions
The mobile packs 3200 mAh built-in battery and weighs 152 grams with 156.5 x 76 x 7.5mm size measurements.
It also supports FM Radio and 3.5 mm audio jack.
Price and availability
OPPO F5 will be available in Gold and Black colors at a price of Rs 19,990 for the 4 GB RAM variant with 32 GB internal storage. The mobile will be available from November 9 in the country. You can pre-order the device till November 8 via Flipkart.
On the other hand, the 6 GB RAM variant with 64 GB internal memory will be available from December 2 at a price of Rs 24,999. The company has also revealed that the OPPO F5 Youth will be launched in the December.
