Vivo Y66 with 5.5-inch display, 3 GB RAM, Snapdragon 430 launched

Vivo has launched the company’s latest mid-range smartphone, Vivo Y66 in India. Let us have a brief look at its specifications.

Vivo Y66 Specifications


The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch 2.5D curved glass display at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.


It is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit processor with Adreno 505 GPU and runs on Funtouch OS 3.0 which can be based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box.


The mobile comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 256 GB using microSD card.


It has 13-megapixel primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED Flash and 16-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture, soft flash.


It supports GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G VoLTE and Hybrid Dual SIM (Micro + nano/microSD) connectivity features.

Battery and other details

Vivo Y66 packs 3000 mAh battery which cannot be removed and weighs 155 grams with 153.8 x 75.5 x 7.6mm size measurements.


Vivo Y66 will be available in Rose Gold and Crown Gold colors at a price of Rs 14,990 across the country from March 20, 2017.
