Earlier in this month, OPPO launched the company’s selfie-focused smartphone, OPPO F5 with 6-inch full HD+ 18:9 full-screen display. Yesterday, the company launched the 6 GB RAM – 64 GB ROM variant of the smartphone in Black color besides launching the Red Edition in collaboration with Vogue on their 10th anniversary. Besides this, rest of the specifications are same as in the original version.

The smartphone sports a 6-inch FHD+ 2.5D curved glass display at a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels with 18:9 aspect ratio and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

It is powered by 2.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P23 16nm processor with 800MHz ARM Mali G71 MP2 GPU and runs on ColorOS 3.2 which is based on Android 7.1 (Nougat) out of the box.
Storage
The device comes in 4 GB RAM – 32 GB ROM and 6 GB RAM – 64 GB ROM variants. The storage memory can be expanded to 256 GB using the microSD card.
Camera
It has 16-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, LED Flash and 20-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1/2.8″ sensor.
Connectivity and Sensors
The device is equipped with fingerprint sensor on board besides supporting 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS and Dual SIM connectivity features.

The mobile packs 3200 mAh built-in battery and weighs 152 grams with 156.5 x 76 x 7.5mm size measurements.

Price and availability
OPPO F5 smarpthone with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage in Black color will be available for sale via Flipkart at Rs 24,990 from December 1. The Red Edition of the smartphone must be available from December 9 via offline stores and Flipkart. For the Red Edition, both the Vogue and OPPO have designed premium customized leather bags as gifts for the customers.
