How to send a scheduled WhatsApp message on Android

But, although WhatsApp has many features that make it a unique application it lacks the feature to schedule WhatsApp messages. Because at times like Birthday wishes and sharing Greetings, you need to send a message at a specific date and time. And, due to your busy lifestyle, you indeed forget to send wishes and realize it when it’s a bit late.

Today, here in this post we are going to share a guide on how to schedule WhatsApp messages on Android as it can be done through one of several third-party apps available on the Google Play Store.

Using WhatsApp Scheduler third-party apps like SKEDit, Do It Later, etc you can schedule photos and videos as well along with regular text messages. You don’t need to worry because these apps also work on non-rooted Android smartphones. But, you may need to buy the premium version if you wish to schedule photos or videos on WhatsApp, while text message is available in the free version.

How to schedule WhatsApp messages on Android

  • Open Google Play Store and download any WhatsApp scheduler app and install it
  • Once the installation is complete, open the WhatsApp Scheduler app
  • May have different options on different apps, but preferably have this setting. Tap on the ‘+’ icon from the bottom right of the screen.
  • Select a WhatsApp Group or WhatsApp contact.
  • Now, set the schedule with time and date and choose the frequency.
  • Type your message and tap on the ‘Create’ button from the top-right corner to schedule the message on WhatsApp.

Note: While installing a third-party app it may ask for permission. Grant the app ‘Accessibility’ access from Settings -> Accessibility -> Services and enable the toggle.

Although there are several features in WhatsApp that give you a moment of no disturbance time, as long as this app is on your smartphone, you simply can’t get rid of notifications. Even, if you have disabled the ‘Read Receipts’ options in WhatsApp, there is a way your friend can find if you have read their messages. They simply even see, if you are using WhatsApp as you are shown as ‘Online’ to your contacts. In fact, there is a trick to chatting with a person who has blocked you on WhatsApp.
