Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 Android 10 update started rolling out

The HMD Global has started rolling out Android 10 update for the Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1. The Nokia 3.1 phone was launched in July, 2018 with Android Oreo (Go Edition) and it received the Android 9 Pie update last year. While, the Nokia 5.1 phone was also launched in July, 2018 and the Android 9 Pie update for Android 5.1 also came last year. Now, the Android 10 update on both Nokia Smartphone will bring additional privacy and security features for users, along with Dark Theme, Focus mode, dedicated ‘Privacy section’, and lots more features, your phone will feel brand new all over.

The Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 phone are the 19^th and 20^th Nokia phone to get the Android 10 update. The Android 10 update weighs 1.3GB in size, carries the version number V4.160 and brings the September 2020 Security Patch alongside new Android 10 features.

These Nokia phones have already got the Android 10 updates.

The Nokia 5.1 update is being rolled out in batches in several counties including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. 10% of all these approved markets are getting the update now, 50% will get it by Oct 11th and 100% will get by Oct 13th. The company said India roll out will receive the update by Oct 29^th.
