Last year in December Google announced the lighter version of Android 8.0 Oreo called Android Oreo Go. It was introduced aiming the entry level smartphones with 512 MB – 1 GB RAM. Today, Nokia launched the Nokia 1 Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone in India. It sports a 4.5-inch screen and runs on runs Android 8.1 (Oreo). It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek SoC and supports 4G VoLTE. It has 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front-facing shooter.
As, the Nokia 1 is an Android Oreo (Go Edition) phone we expect it to have an average of 15 percent faster start up time than the other devices. Besides that, it has all the Go Edition apps that occupy less than 50 percent of the available storage.

The Nokia 1 is priced at Rs. 5,499 and comes in Warm Red and Dark Blue colors. It will go on sale starting March 28th.
