As promised, OnePlus introduced the company’s latest smartphone, OnePlus 5 at an online event. Let us now have a detailed look at its specifications.
OnePlus 5 Specifications
The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full HD Optic AMOLED 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5 display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with DCI-P3 color coverage.
The device comes in two storage variants. While one of them comes with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB internal storage (UFS 2.1), the other one packs 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) internal storage.
It has 16MP rear camera with dual LED Flash, Sony IMX398 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size, EIS, secondary 20MP camera with f/2.6 aperture, Sony IMX350 sensor, 1.0μm pixel size, 4K at 30fps, 1080p at 60 fps, 720p slow motion at 120fps and 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX371 sensor, 1.0μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture.
Using the f/1.7 aperture in the primary camera, you will be able to take stunning portraits and other pictures with a mesmerizing bokeh effect.
Connectivity and sensors
The mobile is equipped with fingerprint sensor on board to provide an extra layer of security besides supporting 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C, NFC and Dual SIM (nano+nano) connectivity features.
Battery and Dimensions
The smartphone packs a 3300 mAh battery with Dash Charge (5V 4A) technology and weighs 153 grams with 154.2×74.1×7.25mm size measurements.
The mobile comes with 3.5mm audio jack, 3 microphones with noise cancellation and Dirac HD Sound features in the audio section.
Price and Availability
OnePlus 5 will be available in Midnight Black and Slate Gray colors at a price of $479 (Rs 30958) for the 6 GB RAM – 64 GB ROM variant. The mobile will be launched in India on Thursday and will be available for sale on the same day from 4:30 PM exclusively via Amazon.in.
