OnePlus has recently unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12, in China, fulfilling its earlier promise. Boasting a 6.82-inch BOE X1 2K AMOLED display with an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits, the device is fueled by the potent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. With the capability to accommodate up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, coupled with a substantial 9140mm² VC heat dissipation area, the OnePlus 12 stands out in terms of both performance and design.
A noteworthy addition to the phone is the self-developed Display P1 chip, meticulously optimized to ensure the longevity of the high brightness feature. The “TIME Design” concept of the OnePlus 12 draws inspiration from luxury watches, featuring a hollow-curved design. The time scales, starry dial, and circular characters on the camera module elegantly capture the essence of the passage of time.

While retaining the signature three-stage alert slide, OnePlus has strategically relocated it to the left side of the phone. This adjustment facilitates the introduction of a new integrated antenna and Alert Slider solution, enhancing antenna performance, particularly for gaming enthusiasts.
The device comes in three distinct color variants: The white variant incorporates the latest ceramic glass technology, maintaining a timeless aesthetic. The Flowy Emerald variant showcases emerald green glass technology, drawing inspiration from the braided channels of the Dart River. The black variant features a matte finish with silk glass craftsmanship.
The camera setup is no slouch, featuring a Sony LYT-808 sensor for the main camera, a 64MP OV64B periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor zoom, and an impressive 120x digital zoom capability. Complementing this is a 48MP Ultra-Wide Camera and the advanced 4th Gen Hasselblad Camera for Mobile.
The OnePlus 12 boasts IP65 dustproof and waterproof ratings, providing durability and reliability in various environments. Powering the device is a robust 5400mAh battery, supporting 100W SuperVOOC fast charging and 50W wireless flash charging. Additionally, the phone supports wireless reverse charging, allowing users to share power wirelessly. With a rapid charge time of 26 minutes for wired and 55 minutes for wireless, the OnePlus 12 promises to keep users connected without lengthy downtime.

The phone packs a 5400mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging and 50W wireless charging, and the phone dimension is 164.3×75.8×9.15mm and its weight is 220g.
Price and Availability
The OnePlus 12 is priced at 4299 yuan (US$ 606 / Rs. 50,650 approx.) for the 12GB RAM with 256GB model. While it costs 4799 yuan (US$ 677 / Rs. 56,465 approx.) for the 16GB RAM with 512GB model. The price is 5299 yuan (US$ 747 / Rs. 62,440 approx.) for the 16GB RAM with 1TB model and the top-end costs 5799 yuan (US$ 818 / Rs. 68,335 approx.) which is 24GB RAM with 1TB model.
It will go on sale in China starting from December 11th. The global and the Indian price will be known when it launches in early 2024.
