If you follow trends, you are creating content you know is already popular with TikTok users. The guesswork of whether users will actually like what you are doing is erased. When creating an online presence anywhere, you want to be searchable. Most people will come across you not from looking for your specific profile but looking for what you do and what type of videos you post. If you produce videos associated with a trending hashtag, when users search that hashtag you will show up. Keep your own personality and style while creating videos that users are searching for.
3. Promote your platform
Building your profile can be a long and exhausting process. You can be producing content without getting much in return. An easy way to aid in this process is to gain followers and likes through promotional websites. Some even do this for free.
