Now, Google has also enabled the dark mode theme to its Search app. This feature has been released for both Android and iOS devices and updates has been rolled out in phases it will reach more users in the phases.
The dark mode really does help as it minimize eye fatigue and use colors that are closer to the system defaults on iPhone and Android respectively. The Google search app dark mode feature supports system-wide dark mode and so it by default adopts the smartphones default theme.
In fact, the dark mode in Google search app gives the option to manually change the theme, in case your smartphone does not have a system-wide dark mode feature. How to enable dark mode in Google search app
- Open Google search app
- At the bottom right corner tap on More button with three dots
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on General
- Scroll down and tap on Theme option
- Select Dark option, this will enable the dark mode on Google search app.
