Google brings Mario Time on Google Maps for iOS and Android on the occasion of Mario Day

Google have collaborated with the team at Nintendo on the occasion of Mario day March 10, to let Mario accompany you on all of your driving adventures on Google Maps this week. Starting today “Mario Time” is available on Google Maps for Android and iOS devices. Mario will be a constant companion on Google Map wherever you’re driving this week.

You need to update your Google Map app from Google Play or the App Store to get started with “Mario Time”. Once, updated click on the yellow “?” icon available on the bottom right of your Google Maps app on Android or iOS device. After, you tap on the yellow “?” icon a prompt to enable Mario Time will appear to enable the Mario Time. Just enable it and you will see the Mario driving a Mario Kart vehicle on the Google Maps navigation arrow.

As, you have enabled the Mario Time now you are ready to take a drive with Mario. The Mario icon will be visible in Google Maps and he will be your constant companion during the entire week on your road trips. The update is rolling for everyone today and this will be available for the next seven days. Just remember to practice safe driving on the road
