Gionee S10 Lite launched in India at Rs 15,999 with HD display

Gionee launched the company’s latest smartphone, Gionee S10 Lite in the ’S-series’. The mobile was initially launched in China a few months ago in May this year. It packs 5.2-inch display, is powered by Snapdragon 427 Mobile Platform and runs on which is Amigo OS 4.0 that is based on Android 7.1 (Nougat) out of the box.

It has 13-megapixel primary camera and 16-megapixel front camera. Both the cameras have LED Flash. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the front side with a 3100 mAh battery.

The mobile was launched in 5.2-inch HD IPS display at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

Platform

It is powered by 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 427 Mobile Platform with Adreno 308 GPU and runs on Amigo OS 4.0 which is based on Android 7.1 (Nougat) out of the box.

Storage

The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory that can be expanded to 128 GB using the microSD card.

Camera

It has 13-megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED Flash and 16-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED Flash.

Connectivity and Sensors

The device is equipped with fingerprint sensor on board besides supporting 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) connectivity features.

Battery and Dimensions

The mobile packs 3100 mAh battery and weighs 155 grams with 148.7×73.7×7.9mm size measurements.

Price and availability

Gionee S10 Lite will be available in Black and Gold colors at a price of Rs 15999 and it will be available throughout the country from December 23.

As per our opinion, the Gionee S10 Lite is priced a little high in the Indian market. I mean, who would buy a smartphone with HD display and Snapdragon 427 SoC?

The company has also teamed up with Paytm and Jio to provide Jio customer additional 5 GB data per month for 10 months of recharge more than 309 and above.
