Samsung is following the path of Apple, Google and Amazon, all thanks to its latest Voice Assistant, Bixby which has been available in other global regions for some time now. And the South Korean company has introduced it now in the great Indian sub-continent. Yes, the Bixby Voice will be available for the Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ and Galaxy Note 8 users in the country.
If you still don’t have this feature in your smartphone yet, our Bixby Voice Starting Guide will help you with the installation and give you a basic insight on the Samsung’s Voice Assistant. Although the Bixvy Voice supports US English, it is said to be well optimized to understand the Indian version of English as well.

Dipesh Shah, MD, Samsung R&D Institute said during the launching event,
It doesn’t matter which part of India you are from, Bixby will work hard to understand you and take care of your daily activities.
After installing the Bixby Voice on your smartphone, you can set reminders, find photos from your gallery, take a selfie, turn on the flashlight and much more just by using the voice commands. All you will have to do is just use the wake-up keyword called, “Hi Bixby”.
According to Samsung, the development of the Bixby Voice for Indian users was taken place at Samsung Research & Development Institute, Bangalore (SRI-B). We can expect this feature to be available not only on the low-end smartphones, but also on other Samsung appliances as well. You might find the Bixby less attractive or intelligent as of now, but we are really expecting it to become an important part of our lives in a few months.
