WhatsApp will allow you to share any file format very soon

WhatsApp is working on to add the ability to let you share the files of any format with your contacts. At present, you can share only sv, doc, docx, pdf, ppt, pptx, rtf, txt, xls, xlsx and a few other formats through its platforms.

The size of the file will have to be under 128 MB on iOS, 100 MB on Android and 64 MB on web. Besides that, the users will also be able to share the apk files via this feature. The popular messaging app already lets you to access the Microsoft OneDrive and Google Drive services to send documents and other supported formats from there.

However, the best upcoming thing is that you will be able to share photos and videos without any compression.

You must note that the company is currently testing this feature and it will be available only for a few users now. The feature will be available to all the users very soon.
