Windows Phone Word Flow keyboard by Microsoft now available in iOS

Microsoft announced that its Windows Phone Word Flow keyboard is now available for the testers of iOS devices. The company had earlier announced in January that it would make the keyboard available for the iPhone users without mentioning any launch date.

The keyboard is coming to iOS with two additional features. You will be able to customize the keyboard with your own custom image and the second additional feature would be the one-handed mode.

The Word Flow Keyboard was first introduced with Windows 8.1. It allows you to type the words in a whole different way by gliding over the display. Just like any other keyboard in the market, Word Flow also predicts emojis and words.

Earlier last week, the company had made its Microsoft Hub keyboard available for the iOS users. The company has also acquired SwiftKey for $250 million. Lately, the Microsoft has put much of its focus in the keyboards for devices.

Let us know your views on the strategy of Microsoft, i.e. relying on Keyboard apps across several platforms. We’d love to hear from you.
