HCL Technologies in conjunction with Microsoft has announced that HCL to launch IoT incubation centre in Redmond. The incubator will focus on solutions for M2M communication (machine-to-machine communication such as life sciences, industrial manufacturing, fleet management and health care.

Both HCL Technologies and Microsoft are yet to provide details such as when the incubator will start functioning. Last year in September, HCL Technologies in partnership with IBM had launched an Incubation Centre near its headquarters in Noida.
The company is known for its IoT ventures in partnerships with leading organizations like IBM, Hitachi, Tele2 and Intel in order to provide end-to-end IoT solutions for several sectors including smart cities, mining and energy, logistics and transportation, utility, healthcare and manufacturing.

HCL Technologies, along with its subsidiaries, operates out of 32 countries and has consolidated revenues of $6.1 billion (roughly Rs. 41,579 crores), as on December 31, 2015.
