The HMD Global has started rolling out Android 11 update for Nokia 4.2. While, the Android 11 update has already been rolled out for few Nokia Smartphone as per schedule which were announced earlier. While, the Android 10 update for Nokia 4.2 phone was done last year.
The Android 11 update brings the functionality for users to let manage conversations across multiple messaging apps all in one place. Nokia smartphones on Android 11 will reset the permissions of apps that haven’t been used in a while, allowing only recent apps access to personal data.
The Nokia 4.2 Android 11 update has build v3.150 which comes with Android security patch for March 2021 and its size is 1.5GB.

The company has started rolling out the update in first wave of countries. 10% of the rollout will go out immediately. And, the Android 11 update for Nokia phone will happen 50% by April 10th, and 100% by April 12th.
However, there are few countries like Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Chile (Entel Chile, Movistar Chile, Claro Chile, WOM), Colombia (Claro Colombia, Movistar Colombia), Czech Republic (O2 CZ), Israel, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Poland (Plus, Orange PL, PLAY), Romania (Orange RO), Russia, USA (T-Mobile) and Uzbekistan who have not yet approved the release.
