Xiaomi’s Redmi brand launched the company’s latest budget smartphone Xiaomi Redmi 7A in India, as promised. To recall, the Redmi 7A phone sports a 5.45-inch HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display. It is powered by Snapdragon 439 and runs Android Pie with MIUI 10. It has a polycarbonate body and splash resistant P2i coating.
The Redmi Note 7 phone comes with a Family Guardian app with SOS Emergency Help option. You can also use this app to limit your kid’s access to certain websites and restrict kid’s use of the phone. The other feature that this app provides is location reminder to enter an area such as school, one-click guard and many more.
It features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, AI scene detection and a 5MP front camera with support for AI face unlock and beautify.

Price and availability
The Redmi 7A phone is priced at Rs. 5799 (Only till this July, after that it will cost Rs. 5999) for the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version. While, it costs Rs. 5999 (Only till this July, after that it will cost Rs. 6199) for the 2GB RAM with 32GB storage version. It comes in Matte Blue, Matte Gold and Matte Black colors and will be available from Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores starting from July 11th.
