Because, it may happen that you have lost or misplaced your Aadhaar card, In that case, if you have your mobile number registered you can easily download and print your Aadhaar card again from UIDAI Website. But, what if you don’t have registered your mobile yet, and you have lost the Aadhaar card?

Although, you can go to the Aadhaar registered center and follow the process by standing in a queue for a long time. But, trust me there was no way you can download your Aadhaar card from UIDAI Website if you do not have a registered mobile number. As it requires a registered mobile number to send the OTP for validation.

Now, UIDAI has recently launched a service to get an Aadhaar card without a registered mobile number which is a paid service. You have to follow the process on the UIDAI website and pay a nominal fee of Rs. 50. Your request will be processed after validation. The re-printed Aadhaar card will be delivered to you using the Speed post at your registered address within five working days.

How to get an Aadhaar card without a registered mobile number?

Step 1: Open the UIDAI website on your PC browser.

Step 2: Look for the section ‘Aadhaar service’ and click on the ‘Order Aadhaar Reprint (Pilot basis) link.

Step 3: A new window will open, where you have to fill in the personal details: Aadhaar Number/VID, security code (captcha) in the box.

Step 4: Since, you do not have a registered mobile number you need to check the box to Request OTP ‘If you do not have a registered mobile number, please check in the box. ’

Step 5: Enter your mobile number which is accessible to you and click on ‘Send OTP’

Step 6: Once you receive the OTP, Enter the OTP number and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 7: The preview will not be shown, as you have not entered a registered mobile number. Just click on the ‘Make Payment’ option.

Step 8: Now, make the payment, once done you will receive a Reprint Order message on the screen with the SRN number. Click on the ‘Acknowledgement Slip’ button and save the receipt on your PC for future tracking purposes.

Step 9: You will also receive a confirmation message on your provided number with the SRN number.

Step 10: Now, just wait for 10 – 15 days, the reprinted Aadhaar card will be delivered to your registered Address.

How to track the status of re-printed Aadhaar card status

Step 1: Open the Check Aadhaar Reprint link in your PC browser.

Step 2: Enter the SRN number, UID number, and security code (captcha) in the box and click on Submit button.

Step 3: The status will be shown on the screen, though the first status would be ‘Payment Successful

These above steps will help you get your Aadhaar card delivered to your address if you have a registered mobile number as well. But, this is basically helpful for people who did not register their mobile number or have changed the number. As it helped me get my Aadhaar card within 15 days without a registered mobile number I thought of sharing it with you.
