Today, Facebook introduced video calling in the Facebook Messenger Lite app. As we know the Messenger Lite app is developed in such a way that it will work well even in slower internet connections. It will be useful for users who have smartphones with less memory or inadequate resources to process. Now, all users can stay connected to their friends and family even with older Android devices and/or slower Internet connections.
According to Facebook, video calling is popular among the users who use the Messenger core app. In fact, in 2017 total of 17 billion video chats happened which is twice as many video chats compared to 2016. Keeping that in mind the same video chat feature has been introduced in the Messenger lite app with the same rich and expressive face-to-face conversations.
You should have the latest version of the Messenger Lite app to use the new video chat feature, however, you can also use the Facebook messenger ignore message feature. Just find the person you like to do a video chat with and tap the video icon on the upper right corner of the screen. Furthermore, you can also upgrade an audio call to a video chat while still in the call by tapping the video icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
The Facebook Messenger Lite app also assists users to send links, photos, and texts easily. Thanks to its 10 MB size, the app will be installed in a few minutes and it is packed with Messenger features such as receiving stickers, receiving and sending photos, etc.
