Last week in India, the Asus introduced the company’s first smartphone which sports an 18:9 display, Asus Pegasus 4S in China. The mobile packs a 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 full screen display which offers more than 12.5% area besides sporting 16-megapixel primary camera with LED Flash in addition to a secondary 8-megapixel primary camera to allow portrait mode. The smartphone also packs a massive 4130 mAh battery.

Asus Pegasus 4S specifications

Display

The smartphone sports a 5.7-inch 18:9 FullView 2.5D curved glass display at a resolution of 1440 x 570 pixels.

Platform

It is powered by 1.5GHz Octa-Core processor and runs on ZenUI which is based on Android 7.0 (Nougat) out of the box.

Storage

The device comes in 3 GB and 4 GB RAM variants. While the former is equipped with 32 GB internal storage, the latter comes with 64 GB internal memory. The storage memory can be expanded to 256 GB using the microSD card.

Camera

It has 16-megapixel primary camera with LED Flash, 8 MP secondary camera in addition to an 8-megapixel front camera.

Connectivity

The mobile supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n , Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS and Dual SIM connectivity features.

Battery and Dimensions

The smartphone packs a 4130mAh (typical) / 4030mAh (minimum) built-in battery and weighs 160 grams with 152.6 × 72.7 × 8.8mm size measurements.

Additional features

Pegasus 4S also has FM Radio and 3.5 mm audio jack features.

Price and availability

Asus Pegasus 4S will be available in Gold and Black colors and is expected to go on sale in China very soon. The price of the smartphone should be revealed very soon.
