Google announced the company’s latest device for home, Google Home Mini at an event in San Francisco. The device that relies on Google Assistant is the perfect answer by the search engine giant to the Amazon Echo Dot.

The compact version of Google Home will let you control the device using Google Assistant to search the internet, check your calendar, control your smart home, stream music and much more all by voice commands. Yes, The Home Mini has been developed not to just play the music, you can do more than that by controlling your home. You can also connect the device to any speaker using the Chromecast. It has both advantages and disadvantages because you will not be able to use a 3.5 mm jack and an additional speaker will be paired only via Chromecast.

Our view on Google Home Mini

The audio in Google Home Mini is only loud enough and we are expecting it not be very louder, but its tiny size is what makes it very special among its competitors. The color options are also pretty good, but we are expecting the Coral color variant to get dirty very soon.

However, let us know your views in the comments section below. We’d love to hear about it from you.
