Sony announced the company’s latest smartphone, Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact. The highlight feature of the smartphone is its stunning camera and the availability of Andriod Oreo out of the box. Let us now have a detailed look at its specifications.

The smartphone sports a 4.6-inch HD TRILUMINOS Display at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and X-Reality.

It is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU and runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) out of the box.

The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory that can be expanded to 256 GB using the microSD card.

It has 19MP rear camera with Exmos RS sensor, 1/2.3″ sensor, f/2.0 lens, Predictive capture, 5-axis stabilization, 4K video recording, 960fps slow-motion video and 8MP front-facing camera with 1/ 4″ Exmor R sensor, 18mm super wide-angle for 120 degrees field of view, f/2.4 aperture, 1080p video recording.

The mobile has IP65/IP68 certifications and is water resistant.

Price and availability

The smartphone will be available in Twilight Pink, Horizon Blue, Black and White Silver colors and will start rolling out from the early September 2017.
