Meizu announced the company’s latest smartphone, Meizu PRO 7 Plus. The highlight of this smartphone is its secondary display. Let us now have a detailed look at its specifications.

The smartphone sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display at a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels with 10000:1 contrast ratio and 103 % NTSC Color Gamut and 1.9-inch Super AMOLED display at a resolution of 240 x 536 pixels with 1000:1 contrast ratio and 307 ppi pixel density.

Platform

It is powered by 2.6GHz Deca-Core MediaTek Helio X30 10nm processor with PowerVR 7XTP-MP4 GPU and runs on Flyme OS 6 which is based on Android 7.0 (Nougat) out of the box.

Storage

The device comes with 6 GB RAM and 64GB (UFS2.1) / 128GB (UFS2.1) internal storage.

It has 12-megapixel dual primary cameras (monochrome + RGB) with dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1.25um pixel size, Sony IMX386 sensors, PDAF and 16-megapixel front camera.

The device is equipped with a fingerprint sensor on board to provide an extra layer of security besides supporting 4G VoLTE , WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C and Dual SIM connectivity features.

The mobile packs 3500 mAh battery with mCharge 4.0 fast charging technology and weighs 170 grams with 157.34 x 77.24 x 7.3mm size measurements.

Price and availability

Meizu PRO 7 Plus will be available in Red, Gold, Silver and Black colors at a price of 3580 yuan (US$ 530 / Rs. 34,110 approx.) and 4080 yuan (US$ 604 / Rs. 38,875 approx.) for 6GB RAM and 64GB storage and 128GB storage variants respectively. It will go on sale from August 5.
