Xiaomi announced the company’s latest mobile in the Mi series, Xiaomi Mi 6 at an event in China. The mobile sports a stainless steel frame with 3D curved glass on all the sides. Let us have a detailed look at all its specifications and other details.
Xiaomi Mi 6 Specifications
The smartphone sports a 5.15-inch full HD display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with 600 nits brightness, 1500:1 contrast ratio and 94.4 % NTSC color gamut.
The device comes with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB internal memory.
It has 12MP rear camera with 1.25μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, 4-axis OIS, 4K video recording, secondary 12MP camera with 1.0 μm pixel size, 52mm portrait lens, f/2.6 aperture and 8-megapixel front camera.
Connectivity and Sensors
The mobile is equipped with Infrared and Ultrasonic Fingerprint sensors besides supporting 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C and Dual SIM connectivity features. The fingerprint sensor can be used to make the payments of WeChat and Alipay payments.

Mi 6 will be available at a price of 2499 yuan (US$ 360 / Rs. 23,420 approx.) and 2899 yuan (US$ 421 / Rs. 27,190 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 64 GB ROM and 6GB RAM with 128 GB ROM respectively. The 6 GB RAM with 128 GB ROM with ceramic body will be available at 2999 yuan (US$ 435 / Rs. 28,100 approx.). The mobile will be available from April 28 in China.
