As promised, Meizu announced the company’s latest smartphone, Meizu E2 in the ‘E-Series’. Let us have a brief look at the specifications of the device in detail.

The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch LCD display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with 450cd / m² brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio.
Platform
It is powered by 2.3GHz GHz MediaTek Helio P20 Octa-Core 64-bit 16nm processor with ARM Mali T880 GPU and runs on Flyme 6.0 OS which is based on YunOS out of the box.
Storage
The device comes in 3 GB/ 4 GB RAM variants with 32 GB and 64 GB internal storages. The internal memory can be expanded to 128 GB using microSD card.
Camera
It has 13-megapixel primary camera with PDAF, f/2.2 aperture, 4-LED dual tone flash and 8-megapixel front camera with 1.4um pixel size, f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity and Sensors
The mobile is equipped with fingerprint sensor to provide an extra layer of security which can also be used for secure payments. It works so fast that you can unlock the phone in just 0.02 seconds. The gadget also supports GLONASS, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz) and 4G VoLTE connectivity features.
Battery and other details
E2 packs a 3400 mAh battery with fast charging technology and weighs 155 grams with 153.7 x 75.7 x 7.5mm size measurements.
Price and Availability
E2 will be available in Champagne Gold, Moonlight Silver and Black colors at a price of 1299 Yuan and 1599 Yuan for 3 GB RAM – 32 GB ROM and 4 GB RAM – 64 GB ROM variants respectively. The mobile is available for order and will go on sale from April 29.
