Gionee announced the company’s latest smartphone, Gionee M6S Plus in China. The mobile comes with encrypted chip to protect the personal data of user besides securing SMS and calls. There is also a two-level fingerprint encryption that adds additional security. Let us now have a brief look at its specifications.

The smartphone sports a 6-inch full HD AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

It is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 653 processor (Quad 1.95GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.44GHz A53 CPUs) with Adreno 510 GPU and runs on Amigo OS 3.5 which is based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box.
Storage
The device comes with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB/ 256 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 256 GB using microSD card.

It has 12-megapixel primary camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.9 aperture, 1.4μm Pixel size and 8-megapixel front camera with 1.4um pixel size, f/2.0 aperture.

The device is equipped with fingerprint sensor on board to provide an extra layer of security besides supporting 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Dual SIM and USB OTG connectivity features.

M6S Plus packs a 6020 mAh battery with fast charging technology and weighs 215 grams with 163.3 x 80.9 x 8.25mm size measurements.
Price and Availability
Gionee M6S Plus will be available in Ink Black color at a price of 3499 yuan and 4299 yuan for the 64 GB and 256 GB versions respectively. The mobile is currently available for pre-order in China and will go on sale from next month.
