The smartphone sports a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with 72% NTSC color gamut, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 450 nits brightness.

It is powered by 1.4GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 processor with Adreno 505 GPU and runs on MIUI 8 with Android operating system on top of it.

The mobile comes with 2 GB / 3 GB RAM and 16 GB / 32 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB using microSD card.
Camera
It has 13-megapixel primary camera with LED Flash, PDAF, 5P Lens, f/2.0 aperture and 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture.

Xiaomi Redmi 4X will be available in Matte Black, Champagne Gold and Cherry Pink colors at a price of 699 Yuan (Rs 6790 approximately) and 899 Yuan (Rs 8730 approximately) for the 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage variant and 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage variant respectively.
