Samsung introduced the company’s latest Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet, Galaxy Book at the MWC 2017. The tablet will be available in two display variants 10.6-inch FULL HD and 12-inch with 1440p resolutions. Both the tablets run on the Windows 10 operating system in addition to full desktop Microsoft Office. Let us have a look at the specifications of both the variants in detail.
Samsung Galaxy Book 10.6-inch Specifications
The tablet sports a 10.6-inch FHD TFT display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by 2.6GHz Dual Core 7th Gen Intel Core m3 processor and runs on Windows 10 operating system. The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB/ 128 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 256 GB using microSD card.
The device has a 5-megapixel front camera and supports USB 3.1 Type-C, GPS + GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac 2X2 MIMO and 4G LTE Cat.6 (Optional). It packs 30.4W battery with fast charging technology and provides around 10 hours of battery life.
Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch Specifications
The tablet sports a 12-inch TFT display with 2160 pixels by 1440 pixels resolution. It is powered by 3.1GHz Dual Core 7th Gen Intel Core i5 processor. The device comes with 4 GB/ 8 GB RAM and 128 GB/ 256 GB SSD internal storage. The storage is expandable using microSD card.
The device features a 13-megapixel autofocus primary camera and 5-megapixel selfie camera. It supports USB 3.1 Type-C x 2, GPS + GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac 2X2 MIMO and 4G LTE Cat.6 (Optional). It packs a 39.04 W battery with a battery life of up to 10.5 hours with fast charging technology.
The company has not revealed any details regarding the pricing and availability of the devices as of now. The tablet also comes with a keyboard which is more tangible and very large to provide a good typing experience. There is also a S Pen Stylus on board.
