Samsung has started rolling out the Android 7.0 (Nougat) update for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. The tech-giant from South Korea has also released a list of its devices which would receive the update of Android 7.0 (Nougat) later this year.
The devices include Galaxy A8, Galaxy A3, Galaxy Tab S2 (LTE unlock), Galaxy Tab A with S Pen, Galaxy Note5, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge Plus and Galaxy S6. While it has been confirmed that Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A3 would receive the Nougat update in the first half of 2017, there is no word yet on whether when other devices in the list would receive the Nougat update.
The update of Android 7.0 (Nougat) will bring features such as improved Quick Panel Notifications, inclusion of Performance Mode, Multi Window Support and much more. Notifications are clustered now to show information more clearly with the support of Direct Reply.
