In the past, Apple has sold the refurbished gadgets of Macs, iPods and iPads on its online store. But, the tech giant is going to sell the refurbished versions of iPhones for the first time.
It was first noticed by MacRumors that Apple has updated its online refurbished store (apple.com). At the moment, the company is selling only the unlocked SIM-Free iPhone 6S models. Just like any other refurbished product, this version of iPhone 6S is available at a lower price comparatively with warranty up to one year in the United States.
The customers will be able to save up to $100 on the basic 16 GB model and the latest iPhone 6S basic model comes at $549 with 32 GB storage. The different color options are available, but only with the 64 GB and 16 GB storage models. While the iPhone 6S starts at $449, the 16 GB iPhone 6S Plus is priced at $529.
