Xiaomi introduced its latest Smartphone in the Redmi Series, Xiaomi Redmi Pro at an event in China. The phone supports VoLTE (Voice over LTE) and comes with a metal body and 4G LTE connectivity.
Xiaomi Redmi Pro Specifications
Xiaomi Redmi Pro sports a 5.5 inch full HD OLED 2.5D curved glass display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with 60000:1 contrast ratio and 100 % NTSC color gamut. It comes in two variants of 3 GB RAM and 4 GB RAM. While the former comes with 64 GB Storage, the latter has 128 GB Storage. Both the variants can be expanded using the microSD. The device is powered by Deca-Core MediaTek Helio X20 / Helio X25 processor with Mali-T880MP4 GPU and runs on MIUI 8 that is based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).
It has a 13 MP primary camera with Sony IMX258, f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF besides the 5 MP Selfie camera with Samsung sensor. The device is also equipped with infrared sensor and fingerprint sensor. Redmi Pro supports USB Type-C, GPS + GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-F 802.11 b/g/n, 4G VoLTE and weighs 174 grams.
Xiaomi Redmi Pro has a 4000 mAh battery. Xiaomi Redmi Pro comes in Gold, Silver and Gray colors and is priced at 1499 yuan (US$ 224 / Rs. 15,110 approx.) for the standard 2.1GHz Helio X20 SoC, 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant, 1699 yuan (US$ 254 / Rs. 17,130 approx.) for the high-end 2.3GHz Helio X25 SoC, 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant and the premium version with 2.5GHz Helio X25 SoC, 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 1999 yuan (US$ 299 / Rs. 20,150 approximately.)
The orders of the Xiaomi Redmi Pro will begin on August 6.
