Windows Holographic by Microsoft to be opened to VR makers

Microsoft says that its Windows Holographic is now available in the devices (especially the ones that support Virtual Reality). The company has started working with the team of HTC Vive to integrate the Holographic interface of Windows 10 in the gadget.

The company has also revealed that it is working with MSI, Lenovo, iBuyPower, HP, Falcon Northwest, Dell, CyberPower PC, ASUS, Acer, HTC, Qualcomm, AMD and Intel to develop the support of Virtual Reality experience in Windows 10. The company is really hoping the makers of VR Headsets to use the Windows Holographic.

The Executive Vice President, Terry Myerson from Windows and Devices group said:

Today, we announced that Windows Holographic is coming to devices of all shapes and sizes from fully immersive virtual reality to fully untethered holographic computing. Today we invited our OEM, ODM, and hardware partners to build PCs, displays, accessories and mixed reality devices with the Windows Holographic platform.

Microsoft had earlier started shipping its Virtual Reality gadget HoloLens to the developers earlier in March. The Windows Holographic Dev kit has now got its first update through which the features such as the ability to rotate 3D models and multitasking have been added.
