Twitch’s ‘Friends,’ a new social networking feature goes live

Twitch, the game streaming service from the family of Amazon is all set to become more social. The latest feature in the app, “Friends” has been launched in the beta stage and is now allowing the users to search, add and view a set of friends besides letting us to see whether they are online so as to chat with them effortlessly.

The company has sent a few invitations to a set of users and is now letting the users to add friends by sending the invitations. Once the feature has been added in your Twitch, you will be able to locate your friends and send request through the new search bar. A list of recommended friends will also be shown to you.

According to the company, you will be able to send whispers to your friends in a single click. You can also add up to 500 users as friends. The addition of this new feature reveals the company’s plans on expanding its social networking goals.
