Apple introduced the latest 13’’ Macbook with Skylake CPU, 8 GB RAM and a better battery life. The device can be seen as a successor of 12-inch Retina Macbook that was released last year. The company has also upgraded the laptop with a faster sixth-generation dual-core Intel Core M processors, an extra hour of battery life, faster flash storage and Intel HD Graphics 515 that can deliver 25 % faster graphics.
The laptop sports an all metal sleek unibody design with a thickness of 35 mm at its thickest point. It is packed with USB-C port and Force Touch trackpad. The gadget promises up to 11 hours of movie playback in iTunes and up to 10 hours of web browsing through wireless internet. The default RAM size is of 8 GB across all the variants of the 13-inch Macbook Air.
The laptop will be available in two variants. While one of them is powered by a 1.1 GHz dual-core Intel core m3 processor that can be clocked up to 2.2 GHz through Turbo Boost, features 256 GB of flash storage, 8 GB of 1866 MHz LPDDR3 RAM, the other variant is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Core m5 processor that can be clocked up to 2.7 GHz through Turbo Boost, featuring 512 GB of flash storage and 8 GB of 1866 MHz LPDDR3 RAM. While the former is priced at Rs. 1,06,900 (MRP), the latter is priced at Rs. 1,29,900 (MRP).
The latest Macbook will be available for sale through the authorized Apple sellers throughout India. Users can also opt for 1.3 GHz dual-core Intel Core m7 processor that can be clocked up to 3.1 GHz through Turbo Speed.
