Say if you discuss about a brand with a friend in Messenger, the Ads related to that brand might appear in the chat. On the other hand, the company’s WhatsApp will continue to remain without Ads. Facebook has so far not commented on this report.
“Our aim with Messenger is to create a high quality, engaging experience for 800 million people around the world, and that includes ensuring people do not experience unwanted messages of any type,” said the company to Techcrunch.
It is still very early to predict the form of Ads in Messenger. However Facebook is likely to consider the User Satisfaction before making any move. Because, no matter in which form the Ads would appear, it will definitely affect the user experience.
We can expect Facebook to deliver much about the Messenger during the company’s F8 conference which is scheduled to be held in April.
