Xiaomi has recently unveiled its latest offerings in India, introducing the Redmi 13C and Redmi 13C 5G smartphones by its earlier commitment. Both devices boast a sizable 6.74-inch HD+ display featuring a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. The Redmi 13C is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, mirroring the configuration of its predecessor, the Redmi 12C. On the other hand, the 5G variant runs on the potent MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. These smartphones offer a generous 8GB of RAM, complemented by the option for an additional 8GB RAM expansion.
Camera enthusiasts will appreciate the Redmi 13C Series, as they sport a robust 50MP main camera. The inclusion of a side-mounted fingerprint scanner enhances the devices’ security features. Powering these smartphones is a substantial 5000mAh battery, supported by 18W fast charging. It’s worth noting that despite this, the package includes a 10W power adapter.
Distinctive design elements further set the Redmi 13C Series apart. The 5G variant boasts a Dynamic Star Trail Design, while the base model features the Star Shine Design. Xiaomi describes these designs as being built on a sophisticated 6-layer architecture. The bottom layer showcases 550,000 triangular lattices emitting diamond-like flashes, while the upper layer comprises nearly 2,000 lines flashing from four angles, creating a dynamic and ever-changing aesthetic, according to the company.

The Redmi 13C 5G is powered by Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 6nm processor (2x Cortex-A76 @ 2.2GHz 6x Cortex-A55 @ 2GHz) with Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and runs Android 13 with MIUI 14.

The Redmi 13C phone comes with 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage, expandable memory up to 1TB with microSD.

The Redmi 13C is priced at Rs. 8999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB version. At the same time, it costs Rs. 9999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB version. And, the top end costs Rs. 11,499 having 8GB RAM with 256GB version. The phone comes in Starshine Green and Stardust Black colors.
The Redmi 13C 5G is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB RAM with 128GB version. At the same time, it costs Rs. 12,499 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB version. And the top end costs Rs. 14,499 having 8GB RAM with 256GB version. The phone comes in Starlight Black, Startrail Silver, and Startrail Green colors.
The phones will be available from December 12th and December 16th, respectively, across Amazon.in, mi.com, and Xiaomi retail stores.
