Vivo has unveiled its latest addition to the ‘Y series’ smartphones in China, introducing the Y100i. Following the recent launch of the Y100, this new model boasts a 6.64-inch FHD+ LCD screen. Running on the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 5G SoC, the device is equipped with 12GB of RAM and an additional 12GB of virtual RAM for enhanced performance.
Featuring a 50MP rear camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor, the Y100i captures detailed and depth-rich images. Vivo highlights the phone’s durability, attributing it to a straight middle frame and innovative cushioning materials, making it resistant to drops. Moreover, the device carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, ensuring added protection.
Despite housing a substantial 5000mAh battery, the Y100i maintains a slim 7.98mm design, showcasing a harmonious blend of power and sleek aesthetics.

Price and Availability
The vivo Y100i is priced at 1599 yuan (USD 225 / Rs. 18,830 approx.) for the single 12GB RAM and 512GB model. The phone comes in Pink, Blue and Black colors. It is already on sale in China.
