Telegram released a new update that brings the ability to import WhatsApp chats. This update brings the version to 7.4.0 for their Android and iOS Telegram apps. Along, with chat import feature the update bring other features like chat deletion options, some new app animations and a few improvements to voice chats on Android for few more messaging app.
After WhatsApp privacy policy updates, Telegram is yet another app which has seen rise in its users who have downloaded and install the Telegram app. Now, if you have also been using Telegram you can see there already an import chat option for both individual and group from WhatsApp. From all other messaging app and WhatsApp also you can simply open the specific chat, select “Export Chat” in the options and select Telegram.
Now with the update Telegram app has got the ability to delete chat from sender as well as receiver, delete secret chats, groups, and call history as well. The Telegram user has also now the ability to adjust the volume for individual participants and thus have improved Voice Chats.
The new update brings option to report fake channels or groups that impersonate famous people or organisations. Along, with lot of new animations throughout the UI such for forwarded message alerts, download icon animations, etc. for Telegram Android app.
Telegram is cloud-based messaging app and also has an encrypted messaging service known for its end-to-end secret messaging service that would leave no trace in any of the services with additional self-destructing features. We would suggest enable two-step verification on Telegram to make your messaging app more secure. You can also hide last seen notification time on Telegram. However, you will also not be able to see last seen notification for blocked users.
