Xiaomi’s Redmi brand announced the company’s latest Redmi K30 Ultra smartphone in the K series at its 10th anniversary event in China. The Redmi K30 Ultra phone sports a 6.67-inch E3 Super AMOLED screen from Samsung with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone is powered by Dimensity 1000+ processor; 5G SA/NSA support with up to 8GB RAM and runs Android 10 with MIUI 12.
The phone also has 3435mm² VC liquid-cooled heat sink to reduce the temperature by up to 10℃. This phone comes with 3D glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, NFC and Hi-Res audio support. The K30 Ultra comes with a 4500mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging that can charge the phone fully in an hour.
The Redmi K30 Ultra phone features quad rear cameras a 64MP 1/1.7″ main sensor, 13MP 119° ultra-wide camera, 5MP (50mm equivalent) macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front side it has a 20MP pop-up front camera with 3D sensing system that can quickly sense falling and retreats. There is built-in multicolour notification LED.

Pricing and Availability
The Redmi K30 Ultra is priced at 1,999 yuan (US$ 287 / Rs. 21,470 approx.) for 6GB + 128GB. While it costs 2,199 yuan (US$ 316 / Rs. 23,620 approx.) for 8GB + 128GB. The price for 8GB + 256GB RAM is 2,499 yuan (US$ 359 / Rs. 26,840 approx.). And, the top-end 8GB + 512GB version costs 2,699 yuan (US$ 388 / Rs. 28,990 approx.). The phone comes in Moonlight White, Midnight Black and Mint Green colors. It is now available for order and will go on sale in China starting from August 14th.
