OnePlus announced the company’s latest flagship Smartphone OnePlus 8 in an online launch event. The OnePlus 8 phone sports a 6.55-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display, 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone has 3D Corning Gorilla Glass protection, is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 865 SoC with X55 5G modem that supports both NSA and SA 5G, up to 12GB of RAM, and runs Android 10.0 with OxygenOS 10.
The phone has the alert slider, a glass back with 3D Corning Gorilla Glass protection, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It also has HDR 10+ support, tuned color accuracy rating of JNCD around 0.4 for life-like quality. OnePlus says that it has 4096 levels of auto brightness control and has A+ Display rating from DisplayMate.
The OnePlus 8 Smartphone features triple rear camera 48MP camera with Sony IMX586 sensor and OIS, a 16MP 116° ultra-wide angle camera and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front side it has 16MP in-screen camera with Sony IMX471 sensor. The phone packs 4300mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T fast charging that can charge the phone from 1% to 50% in just 22 minutes.

The phone features triple rear cameras 48MP rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.75 aperture, OIS + EIS Hybrid stabilization, 16MP 116° ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, 4K video at 60 fps, 720p slow motion at 480fps, 1080p slow motion at 240fps.
On the front side it has 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX471 sensor, f/2.45 aperture, EIS.

The device supports 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax 2X2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1+L5 Dual Band) + GLONASS, USB Type-C. It has Dual SIM (nano + nano), USB Type-C audio, Dual Stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos and comes with In-display fingerprint sensor.
Battery and Dimensions
The mobile packs 4300mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T Fast Charging (5V/6A). The phone has a size measurement of 160.2×72.9×8.0 mm and weight is 180g.
Pricing and Availability
The OnePlus 8 phone is priced at $699 (Rs. 53,100 approx.) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version. While, it costs $799 (Rs. 60,700 approx.) for the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs. The phone will be available in the US and North America from April 29th.
The OnePlus 8 Smartphone will also be available in Europe and UK from April 21st starting at £599 (Rs. 57,405 approx.)/€699 (Rs. 58,345 approx) with pre-orders starting today.

OnePlus just said it will be available in India this summer on Amazon.in but did not reveal pricing.
