3. Microsoft Edge

For Microsoft Edge it shows a speaker icon when a tab is playing music. But, that is just for information as to stop the music in Microsoft Edge you need to right-click on the speaker icon from the Windows taskbar and manually mute the speaker icon.

4. Apple Safari

Look for the speaker icon on the address bar of the tab in which the sound is playing or you can do it for any tab from where you don’t need sound. Just click on it to toggle the sound on/off to mute the music or play it.
