HUAWEI announced the company’s latest mid-range HUAWEI Maimang 8 smartphone in China. The Maimang 8 phone sports a 6.21-inch Full HD+ waterdrop notch display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio, 89% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Kirin 710 SoC, support for GPU Turbo 2.0 and runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.0 on top. It comes with rear mounted Fingerprint sensor.
It features triple rear camera 24MP camera along with a secondary 2MP camera for AI portraits and AI scene detection and a 16MP ultra wide-angle lens. On the front side it has 8MP front-facing camera.

It supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS + GLONASS, Micro USB. It has Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) and comes with rear mounted Fingerprint sensor.

It packs 3400mAh (typical) / 3320mAh (minimum) battery and the phone size measurement is 155.2×73.4×7.95mm and weight is 160g.
Price and availability
The HUAWEI Maimang 8 is priced at 1899 yuan (US$ 274 / Rs. 19,055 approx.) and comes in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue colors. It will be available for order starting today and go on sale from June 12th in China.
