Vivo announced the company’s latest mid-range Vivo U1 smartphone in the new ‘U series’ in China. It sports a 6.2-inch HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio waterdrop notch display. The Vivo U1 is powered by Snapdragon 439 12nm SoC with up to 4GB of RAM and runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Funtouch OS 4.5. It comes with Face unlock feature and has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor.
It has dual rear cameras, the primary is a 13MP camera and secondary is a 2MP camera for portraits. On the front side it has an 8MP camera with support for face unlock.

The mobile sports a 6.22-inch 19:9 FullView 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels.

It is powered by Octa-Core (Quad 1.95GHz Cortex A53 + Quad 1.45GHz Cortex A53) Snapdragon 439 Mobile Platform with Adreno 505 GPU and runs Funtouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo).

The device comes in two variants 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, expandable memory with microSD.
Camera
It has dual rear cameras the primary is a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and secondary 2MP camera.
On the front side it has 8MP front-facing camera.

The device supports Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS. It has Dual SIM and rear mounted Fingerprint sensor.
Battery and Dimensions
The mobile packs 4030mAh (typical) built-in battery. The phone has a size measurement of 155.1 × 75.09 × 8.28mm and weight is 163.5g.
Price and availability
The Vivo U1 is priced at 799 yuan (US$ 117/Rs. 8,430 approx.) for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version. While it costs 1199 yuan (US$ 176/ Rs. 12,645 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version. It comes in Midnight Black, Purple and Aurora Red colors.
