Sony announced the company’s latest flagship Sony Xperia 1 smartphone at the MWC 2019 event. This phone is world’s first smartphone with 6.5-inch 21:9 CinemaWide 4K HDR display offering bright colors with BRAVIA X1 for mobile. It is powered by Snapdragon 855 with 6GB of RAM and runs Android 9.0 (Pie). It has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection on the front and the back and comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and packs a 3330mAh battery.
The Sony Xperia has Creator mode that uses industry leading technology to ensure consistent color reproduction, so movies and TV shows are as the creator intended. It also has Dolby Atmos and considered to be the world’s first smartphone with Eye AF and up to 10FPS AF/AE for precision focus and high speed shooting. The Cinema Pro, powered by CineAlta offers 21:9 Movie recording in 4K HDR that promises best results even in backlit scenes or low light.
The Xperia 1 features triple rear cameras having 12MP rear cameras that include 16mm super wide-angle lens, 26mm normal lens with dual photo diode image sensor and RAW noise reduction and a 52mm lens for portrait and 2x optical zoom. On the front side it has 8MP front-facing camera.

It has Single / Dual SIM, USB Type-C audio, Stereo speaker, DSEE HX, LDAC, Dolby Atmos. It also has Water Resistant (IP65/IP68) rating and comes with a Side-mounted Fingerprint sensor.
Battery and Dimensions
The mobile packs 3300mAh Battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology, Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, Qi Wireless charging; this phone has size measurement of 167 x 72 x 8.2mm.
Price and availability
The Sony Xperia 1 is priced at at £799 (US$ 1,045 / Rs. 74,270) and comes in Black, Purple, Grey and White colors. It will roll out from late spring in the US and in the coming weeks in Europe.
