LG Q9 One Android One smartphone with 6.1-inch QHD+ display with military-level durability announced

LG Q9

LG introduced the company new LG Q9 Android One smartphone in Korea. It sports a 6.1-inch QHD+ 19.5:9 FullVision display. This Q9 One is powered by  Snapdragon 835 SoC with 4GB of RAM and runs Android 9.0 (Pie). It also comes with a dedicated Google Assistant button. It is announced with military level durability and is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance, meets MIL-STD 810G requirements, and Hi-Fi Quad DAC.

It has 16MP rear camera with f/1.6 aperture and an 8MP front camera. It comes with rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3000mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0.

The mobile sports a 6.1-inch 19.5:9 FullVision Super Bright IPS Display with a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels.

Platform

It is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU and runs Android 9.0 (Pie).

Storage

The device comes with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB (UFS 2.1) storage, the storage memory can be expanded up to 2TB with microSD card.

Camera

It has 16MP rear camera with f/1.6 aperture, 71-degree wide-angle lens, LED flash.

On the front it has 8MP front camera with 80-degree wide-angle lens,  f/1.9 aperture.

Connectivity and Sensors

The device supports Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C. It has 3.5mm audio jack, 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC, Boombox Speaker, FM Radio. It also comes with rear-mounted Fingerprint sensor.

Battery and Dimensions

The mobile packs 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. The phone has a size measurement of 153.2 x 71.9 x 7.9mm and weight is 156g.

Price and availability

The LG Q9 One is priced at 599,500 Korean Won (US$ 533/Rs. 37,940 approx.) and comes in Moroccan Blue color. This phone will go on sale exclusively through LG U+ starting from February 15th.
