LG has launched the V40 ThinQ smartphone in India as promised last week. The LG V40 ThinQ sports a 6.4-inch FullVision OLED display. It is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU and runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with LG UX, upgradable to Android 9.0 (Pie).

The LG V40 ThinQ has MIL-STD 810G military-grade durability and is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance. It uses Silky Blast process that etches the tempered glass back with microscopic pits to create a smoother matte finish. This phone is very comfortable in holding and does not feel slippery and also resistant to fingerprints and stains like any other new smartphones. It has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and packs a 3300mAh battery with support for fast charging and wireless charging.

This phone has a triple rear cameras 16MP 107-degree super wide-angle, 12MP standard angle and 12MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom and Triple Shot feature stitches together the images captured with each of the three lenses into a short video file for easy sharing. On the front side it has dual cameras, 5MP wide-angle lens and 8MP standard camera on the front for bokeh effect with an on-screen slider to adjust the amount of background blur.

For automatic focusing it has Dual PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) that is 50% faster. The advanced HDR feature analyzes and determines the right exposure settings to create perfectly lit shots, AI Auto White Balance (AI AWB), AI Shutter selects the right shutter speed, especially useful when trying to capture fast-moving subjects, Cine Shot, 3D Light Effect, Makeup Pro, Custom Backdrop, My Avatar and AR Emoji.

It also have Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) and Water, dust resistant (IP68), MIL-STD 810G certified. It also comes with rear mounted Fingerprint sensor.
