Vivo launched the mid-range Vivo Y81 smartphone in the ‘Y Series’ in India today. It was announced back in June, it sports a 6.22-inch HD+ screen with 19:9 aspect ratio, 2.15mm narrow bezels and 88% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by MediaTek’s latest Helio P22 Octa-Core 12nm SoC and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Funtouch OS 4. It doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor.
It has 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and on the front side it has 5 MP camera. It has dedicated dual SIM and microSD slots and packs a 3260mAh battery.

It is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) 12nm processor with 650MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Funtouch OS 4.0.

The device comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory, the storage memory can be expanded up to 256GB using microSD card.

It has 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 5MP front-facing camera, f/2.2 aperture.
Connectivity & Sensors
The mobile supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS. It has Dual SIM.
Battery and Dimensions
The mobile packs 3260mAh battery. It has a size measurement of 155.21x 75.24 x 7.7mm and weight is 146g.
Price and availability
The Vivo Y81 is priced at 4,990,000 Vietnamese dong (US$ 220/Rs. 14,960 approx.) and comes in Black color. There is no details about the global roll out yet.
The Vivo Y81 is priced at Rs. 12,999 and comes in Black and Gold colors. It is available from Amazon.in, Flipkart as well as Vivo online store in India.
