Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, and Nokia 6.1 get new camera update with Google Lens and Motions integration

Today, HMD Global started rolling out the new camera experiences with enhanced functionality and user experience for Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, and Nokia 6.1 users. Along with that AI stickers is available for Nokia 8 Sirocco and Nokia 7 Plus. Furthermore, it also brings Google Lens and Motions integration directly into the viewfinder.

For those of you who are not aware of the Google Lens, it lets you to scan the objects, landmarks and other subjects and provide information in the same window. You must rejoice as this app can also identify different plants and animals. For instance, you could let the type of Dog you own just by letting the Google Lens to scan it. In short it provides information about the world around you in real time right in the viewfinder or copy-paste text from the real world to your phone. And the motion integration directly into the viewfinder means now you can capture short videos, and share it directly to social media and messaging services as a GIF.

Once, you do the update you will get an easy to use camera interface and be able to easily switch between aspect ratios and key camera modes i.e. Photo, Video, Live Bokeh, Slow motion, Time-lapse, Panorama modes with one touch. The Pro camera mode gives you the ultimate level of control over your photo along with that Dual-Sight photos and videos use the front and rear camera simultaneously so you can capture the action and your reaction.

The update is available via Google Play Store for all Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, and Nokia 6.1 smartphones.
